Our preschool classes provide an imaginative, magical and loving introduction to ballet. Movement, musicality, rhythm and body awareness are developed through basic dance techniques and exploratory and creative movement. Fun and colorful props are used to develop coordination, confidence, and explore the wonders of movement, making your child’s introduction to dance exciting and fun.
Beginner ballet is a theatrical art form using dance in which fixed poses and steps that are combined with light, flowing movement to convey a story, and is the foundation of most forms of artistic dance. Traditional ballet postures, techniques and movements are developed, as well as ballet class etiquette, terminology, and stories of famous ballets.
Pre-pointe is designed to set up dancers for success en pointe. This class emphasizes strengthening and alignment exercises for the legs and feet. Pre-pointe may also be recommended for a dancer who is physically unable to undertake the rigors of pointe work, but can benefit from the exercises offered and would enjoy learning about the process of dancing on pointe.
Pointe is the style of dance in which all body weight is supported on the tips of fully extended feet while wearing structural pointe shoes. In order to be able to dance en pointe, a dancer must have had time to achieve the form, strength, and alignment needed to make a successful transition into pointe work, and must possess the emotional maturity necessary for the hard work and commitment that pointe entails.

Clogging is a fast pace tap-like class in which students will learn technique and learn how to move their feet at a rapid pace while ensuring grace and style. Clogging is always one of the most exciting and a favorite among students.

Hip hop is a fast-paced and energetic style that uses the latest street/urban dance moves set to hip hop music. Hip hop encompasses a wide range of street styles including breaking, locking and popping.
We will explore rhythm and musicality, as well as develop coordination, balance and strength through a variety of movements and patterns across the floor and in center floor choreography.
We will also focus on confidence, creative freestyle and teamwork. Students are encouraged to develop their own sense of style.

Jazz introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun, expressive way of dancing. Our jazz classes combine the foundations of ballet with upbeat, dynamic music to create energetic, styled movement with emphasis on syncopation, expression, improvisation, and rhythm.
The class with be a combination of conditioning/warm up, stretching, and variety of across and center floor combinations. Leaps and turns are an essential part of this class.

Lyrical dance encourages and utilizes the foundations of ballet to create powerful, fluid, expressive movement. Lyrical dance ties in the passion, imagination and interpretation of the performer in addition to the movements themselves.

Pom combines dance and cheer motions and techniques. This class focuses on the core fundamentals of basic pom structure. Dancers will be working on pom motions and jumps, as well as dance technique including: turns, jumps and leaps.

Tap dancers will use their feet as percussive “instruments” to create sounds as they dance. Key elements in tap class are timing, rhythm, and musicality.

Strength/Flexibility is to help go above and beyond what is done in the regular dance class. We will focus on strengthening core muscles and using that to help with flexibility to increase their level of skills.
Tumbling will help with the execution of acrobatic movements such as rolls, twists, handsprings, and somersaults on floor mats or on the ground. We will go over simple tricks to enhance our dances.

Our fitness/yoga combination class is a heart-pumping cardio dance party that's a full body workout! If you're looking for something that's fun, easy to follow and gets your heart pumping then this is the choice for you! We will end the class with a peaceful practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. Yoga uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health.
